Anti-Stress Holiday Challenge 2023/2024
November 22, 2023 - January 20, 2024
Hi everyone, it's that time of year again...and how did
that happen so fast?!?
😃
For those of you that are suckers for holiday romances
like I am, this challenge is for you! We're coming into that time of year when,
regardless of your culture, nationality or religion, you can probably find at
least one holiday to celebrate. Holidays can be wonderful, bringing together
family and friends, but they can also generate a bit (or sometimes a lot) of
stress. With this in mind, we wanted to bring you a challenge designed not only
to not add to that stress, but hopefully to also give you a chance to escape it
for a while!
The rules of this challenge are simple...read books with
a holiday theme. It can be any holiday, not necessarily just the ones that
occur this time of year, and there are no limitations on length, rereads,
audiobooks, or anything else you can think of...so just pick a level, and start
reading! Oh, and just to keep the stress level as low as possible, feel free to
change your level at any time and even in either direction!
Levels:
3 books: No time to read...well, maybe just a tiny bit!
8 books: Yep, I'm pretty busy, but I can still find some
time to read!
15 books: Things are pretty much under control...I've got
time to get my reading in!
20 books: What stress? I'm just chillin' out with my
books!
1.
Marry and Bright - Teri Wilson (HSE #3021 - Dec 2023) (Christmas) - Nov 30
2.
Holiday Heroes - Janie Crouch, Regan Black (Calamitte Jane Pub - Dec 2023) (Christmas) - Dec 8

Bonus: If you happen to stumble across a book that isn't
holiday themed, but a holiday is mentioned or celebrated in it, you can use it
here. For example, if you read a book that takes place in the summer, but has
an epilogue that takes place on Christmas Eve, this is the place to include it!
1.
Their Sweet Coastal Reunion - Kaylie Newell (HSE #2957 - Jan 2023) (July 4) - Dec 1
